Offer description

Perci Health is reimagining how cancer care is delivered and experienced. As the UK’s largest virtual cancer clinic, we provide whole-person, end-to-end support - from risk reduction and early detection to rehabilitation and long-term recovery.

We exist to close the critical care gap in modern cancer services, combining digital innovation with expert-led human care. Backed by Macmillan Cancer Support and invested in by over 35 of the UK’s leading oncologists and cancer surgeons, we are building a new model of care, one that’s proactive, personalised, and precision-led.

We’ve pioneered Performance Oncology, a new standard of cancer care inspired by the principles of elite sport. Our multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively across more than 20 clinical specialisms to deliver personalised care plans that help people reduce risk, navigate treatment, manage side effects, and rebuild their lives.

At Perci, you’ll join a compassionate, mission-driven team united by one goal: to radically improve outcomes for everyone affected by cancer. Our innovative virtual clinic makes specialist-led care more accessible, reducing avoidable complications and transforming lives.

Founded by a cancer clinician and a digital transformation leader, Perci blends deep clinical insight with consumer-grade digital experience. Together, we’re setting a new benchmark for cancer care, proving that quality, compassion, and innovation can coexist.

Help shape the future of cancer care. Welcome to Whole Human Cancer Care.

Role Purpose

You are joining Perci at a pivotal moment in our journey as we transition from start-up to growth stage and build a more mature Product organisation.

As a product-led company, what matters most to us is the experience and outcomes we deliver for our members. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology and service innovation, helping shape how we scale meaningful impact for people living with and beyond cancer.

You will join as one of two peer leaders within Perci's Product function, working alongside the Head of Clinical Outcomes, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer as part of Perci's Product leadership team to build an entirely new model of connected cancer care.

Together, the Product leadership team is responsible for creating thoughtful, innovative and effective products and services that enable us to scale our impact to hundreds of thousands of people affected by cancer across the UK and beyond.

Our 20:20 vision is ambitious: reaching 200,000 members with an average engagement of 20 months, delivering meaningful, long-term impact beyond treatment.

As Head of Product, you will lead a team comprising:

* Product Managers – responsible for defining requirements, leading discovery, prioritisation and execution across our product portfolio.
* Future product capability – including product operations, design and user research functions as the team evolves and scales.

Your team will support and enhance our core product suite:

* Perci Guide – screening and prevention services
* Perci Navigator – cancer navigation and personalised support
* Perci Clinic – outcomes-focused multidisciplinary cancer care

You will be directly accountable for ensuring our products deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable value for members, partners and the wider organisation.

Working closely with the Head of Clinical Outcomes, Technology and Data teams, you will translate clinical models and user needs into scalable digital products, define how success is measured and continuously improve our products through evidence and insight.

This is an opportunity to build something meaningful - shaping not just products, but a new model of connected cancer care at scale.

Key Responsibilities

The post-holder will be expected to contribute the following key areas;

Product Strategy & Vision

* Own and articulate a compelling product vision across Perci’s platform, ensuring alignment with our clinical mission and commercial strategy.
* Define, prioritise and manage the product roadmap across Perci’s core product suite.
* Ensure priorities balance member experience, business goals and clinical requirements.
* Translate strategic objectives into clear initiatives, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

Product Leadership & Team Development

* Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers and future product function hires.
* Build a culture of curiosity, experimentation, accountability and member-centred design.
* Identify capability gaps and support hiring as Perci scales.

Product Discovery & User Experience

* Lead product discovery and user research activities across members, clinicians, partners and internal stakeholders.
* Partner closely with the Head of Clinical Outcomes to ensure product decisions are informed by clinical evidence and safety requirements.
* Centralise and manage user feedback, ensuring insights inform prioritisation and future roadmap development.

Product Delivery & Operations

* Own quarterly initiative planning and product operating rhythms.
* Drive high-quality product releases with speed and confidence within an agile environment.
* Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Data, Performance & Continuous Improvement

* Own product KPIs relating to engagement, adoption, experience and operational performance.
* Partner with the Head of Clinical Outcomes on clinical outcome measures and shared success metrics.
* Use data to drive prioritisation and continuous improvement decisions.
* Regularly communicate progress, outcomes and roadmap updates to the executive team and board.

Cross-functional Leadership

* Act as the connective tissue across clinical, operations, technology and commercial teams.
* Partner with the Head of Clinical Outcomes to translate clinical models into scalable digital products and operational workflows.
* Help shape the future operating model for the Product organisation as Perci scales.

Person Specification

Essential - Must Have

* 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a start-up or scale-up environment.
* Demonstrable track record of building and shipping user-facing digital products at scale, from discovery and definition through to successful market adoption.
* Experience leading the full product lifecycle across digital products and service experiences, with comfort owning not only software delivery but also the broader workflows and experiences surrounding it, including operational processes, clinician workflows and patient-facing journeys.

* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable presenting product strategy and outcomes to C-suite leaders, clinicians, and external investors.
* Highly data-driven, with deep familiarity with product analytics frameworks, KPI setting, and evidence-based prioritisation methodologies (e.g. RICE, ICE, OKRs).
