About the Role
Our Reablement Service is recruiting a Care & Support Worker for night shifts to ensure continuous and responsive care for the most vulnerable people in our district, providing the best quality of care in the community.
This is a permanent position working 26.25 hours per week. The service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, including weekends and bank holidays.
Shift Pattern
The successful candidate will work a 2-week shift pattern: 4 days on and 4 days off, during the hours of 23:00 to 6:30. All shifts are waking night shifts.
Additional Information
This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The post holder must demonstrate a proficient level of fluency as detailed in the job specification.
Service Goals
The aim of our service is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes by promoting independence and delivering quality care. We work to ensure dignity and respect, collaborating with other professionals and agencies to deliver person-centred services within national guidelines and standards.
Our Night Services
* Virtual Ward Service: Supports patients who would otherwise be in hospital to receive care, be monitored, and receive treatment at home.
* Dementia Wraparound Service: Provides 24/7 care for dementia service users requiring 1-1 support in residential settings.
* Repositioning Service: Monitors and prevents pressure sores in service users' own homes during the night.
* Urgent Response Service: Offers short-term intervention to expedite hospital discharges or prevent admissions.

Salary and Benefits
Starting salary ranges from £24,790 to £25,183 (FTE), with enhancements for night, weekend, and bank holiday work, plus overtime opportunities. Other benefits include:
