Clerical Officer/Receptionist – Business Support
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to over 1.15 million people and a wider population of 2.2 million with our regional and national services.
The role is part of the business support team and provides reception, clerical and administrative support to the primary/community care service team. The post will work flexibly within agreed procedures and protocols at one or more office bases in the North East Sector.
Responsibilities
* Reception duties – greeting patients, members of the public and staff, handling general enquiries.
* Data input and record management.
* General typing and other clerical tasks.
* Support generic functions and duties administered within the wider Business Team section.
The post holder will have frequent contact with patients, members of the public and staff, and may also interact with records officers across NHSGGC, other board areas and schools. At all times they are expected to act in a courteous and professional manner.
