School Caretaker Vacancy – Start After Easter Half Term
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team starting after the Easter half term. This is a key role in helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Start Date: After Easter Half Term - Monday 13th April
Hours: 6.30am-12pm
Salary: £15-£20 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Opening the school site each day
Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and secure
Monitoring health and safety across the site
Supporting with room setups for school events and activities
Liaising with contractors when required
General site duties as directed by the school leadership team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be practical and able to carry out basic DIY and maintenance tasks
Be dependable, organised, and proactive
Have good communication skills
Take pride in maintaining a safe and tidy environment
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
