What You’ll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll support our chefs and front-of-house team to ensure everything operates seamlessly.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
2. Washing crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
3. Supporting food preparation (e.g. salads, sandwiches, vegetables)
4. Assisting with stock control, deliveries, and correct storage of supplies.
5. Ensuring waste is managed safely and efficiently
6. Helping maintain beverage stations and supporting front-of-house when needed.
7. Carrying out daily checks and reporting any faults or issues promptly

Desirable:
12. Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to work towards)
13. Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a catering/restaurant setting
14. Customer service or front-of-house experience
15. Basic IT experience
Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent (15 hours per week)
Base Salary: £9,929.40 pro-rata per annum (£24,823.50 full-time equivalent)

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencing employment.
