A leading defence and security programme is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team. This role involves the end-to-end development of modern web applications, leveraging a cloud-native tech stack and secure development practices.
You’ll play a key role in delivering scalable solutions, with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript across both frontend and backend systems, deployed within the Azure ecosystem.
Security Clearance
Active SC clearance is essential. Applicants without current SC clearance will not be considered.
Contract Overview
* Length: 12 months
* Location: Bristol (2 days per week onsite)
* Rate: Up to £714.30/day (Inside IR35)
* Start: ASAP

Frontend & API
* React, Node.js, Next.js

Backend & Serverless
* Node.js, TypeScript
* Azure Function Apps
* Development of backend services using serverless architecture
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a full stack developer in secure or enterprise-grade environments
* Strong proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript
* Solid experience with React and modern front-end frameworks
* Familiarity with Azure services, particularly Function Apps and Web Apps
* Ability to contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery practices
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
