Business Development Executive – Protective Packaging (Dangerous Goods)
Location: Clevedon, Bristol
Salary: £27,000 base + performance bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our team in Clevedon, Bristol. This role focuses on generating new business, conducting face-to-face client meetings, and providing support with protective packaging for dangerous goods, including logistics coordination.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for:
* Identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities
* Managing your own pipeline of prospects and converting leads into long-term customers
* Conducting on-site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
* Promoting and selling specialist protective packaging for dangerous goods
* Providing technical packaging support (full training provided)
* Coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth delivery of products
* Building strong, ongoing customer relationships through high-quality service
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
* Be driven, confident, and motivated by winning new business
* Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Be comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and presenting solutions
* Be able to understand technical products and compliance considerations (training provided)
* Have previous experience in business development or sales (packaging/logistics experience is a plus)
* Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
