At The Letting Partnership, we're the backbone for letting agents across the UK, providing crucial support in client money protection. Our stellar reputation is built on exceptional customer service, dedication, and expertise. Over the past two years, our client base has tripled, and we're gearing up for even more growth.


We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience providing technical support to end users, managing Active Directory and Azure environments, and ensuring seamless operation of desktop systems across the organization. This role requires a proactive professional with strong problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide first and second-line technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues (hardware and software).
* Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) user accounts, groups, and permissions.
* Support Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environments, including identity management and access control.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
* Maintain and update IT asset inventory and documentation.Assist with Azure AD Join, Intune, and device compliance policies.
* Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or infrastructure teams as needed.
* Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets and provide excellent customer service to internal users.
* Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and security improvements.
* Support the onboarding/offboarding process for employees, including hardware setup and account provisioning.


Requirements

* At least 1 year of experience in a Desktop Support or IT Support position.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD), including user and group management.
* Experience working with Microsoft Azure / Azure AD and Microsoft 365 administration.
* Familiarity with Intune, endpoint management, and remote device support.
* Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 environments and networking fundamentals.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop
* Administrator Associate, or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
* Exposure to SCCM, PowerShell scripting, or other automation tools.
