As a Subcontract Administrator for Advanced Manufacturing at Jacobs, you will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services. This role may act as Lead on small projects (Total Installed Cost $50M or less) and involves managing procurement transactions, coordinating bids, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
The Subcontract Administrator reports directly to the Director of Supply Management, Advanced Manufacturing, and indirectly to the assigned Project Procurement Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager.
Here’s What You’ll Do
* Preparation of Request for Proposal packages
* Issuance and administration of bid packages throughout the bid cycle.
* Coordinate and host Prebid meetings with bidders and Project Team members
* Receipt and review of proposalsTabulation of proposals
* Coordinate clarification meetings with bidders and Project team
* Prepare commercial bid evaluations
* Negotiate terms and conditions with bidders and coordinate final negotiations with legal department
* Route requisition for award documents to project team for approvals
* Draft award Subcontract documents and issue to successful bidder
* Coordinate pre-award meetings
* Manage Subcontractor invoices
* Manage change orders
* Mitigate Subcontractor risk and assist with any claims or disputes
* Subcontract close out activities
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience
* 5+ years of experience in construction contracting
* 2-5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing or Data Center Projects is preferred
* Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00 to $103,500.00.
