Salary: Up to £37,500 plus SEN allowance of £2,679
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and well-established all through school in Ruddington to recruit a committed GCSE Science Teacher for the new academic year.
This full-time role is expected to be for the entire academic year, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate. Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations and practical assessments
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting support where needed
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and SLT
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Support pupils through key transitions and preparation for GCSE's
What We're Looking For:
- UK QTS is essential
- Experience teaching or supporting GCSE students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils academically and socially
