Role Overview
As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll provide personal care, companionship, and practical support tailored to each client. Your role is about making visits meaningful, offering reassurance, and encouraging independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Support with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Assist with daily routines and light housekeeping
* Help clients access community activities and appointments
* Observe changes in wellbeing and report concerns
* Work in line with care plans while adapting to individual needs
Required Skills and Experience
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Right to work in the UK
* Caring, patient, and respectful attitude
* Reliability and pride in your work
* Previous care experience (not required; full training provided)
* Strong communication skills in English
* Basic IT skills for record keeping
