Lettings Officer

Full-time - Monday–Thursday 9–5, Friday 9–4
Are you an organised, detail-driven lettings professional looking to join a fast‑paced, supportive team? We’re looking for a Lettings Officer with experience in allocations and/or tenancy terminations to help us deliver an efficient, customer‑focused lettings service.
About the role
As a key member of our Shrewsbury-based lettings team, you’ll manage a varied caseload and play an important part in ensuring our homes are let quickly, fairly, and compliantly. No two days are the same, and you’ll thrive in a role where accuracy, communication, and great customer service really matter.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of allocations at different stages
* Processing tenancy terminations
* Advertising available homes for let
* Shortlisting applicants via the Shropshire Homepoint choice-based lettings system
* Completing verification and allocation checks
* Responding to customer queries by phone and email
* Scheduling affordability assessments and tenancy sign-ups
About you
We’re ideally looking for someone who brings:
* Experience working within a lettings environment
* Knowledge of allocations and/or tenancy terminations
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
* Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues
* The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting
