About the role
Node4 own and operate three data centres. We control and manage all aspects of our data centres with an impressive reliability record. Having complete end to end control of our data centres enables Node4 to be flexible and agile to our customers needs and requirements.
What will you bring?
The role covers many aspects within the Data Centre facility, the below are typical tasks
and responsibilities that engineers complete:
* Monitoring the site and any alerts that arise, taking appropriate action to resolve or escalate
* Supervising customer access and assisting when required
* Monitoring and maintaining site security
* Supervising contractors onsite
* Rack installations and patching, installation and removal of cabling cross-connects.
* Adhering to Process, Policies and Best Practice - operating in line with company policies around access, security, safety and other operational areas as appropriate are followed
* Completing tickets promptly and within SLA (alerts / access requests / tasks / remote hands etc)
