Requirements
Must have:
- Educated to Honours Degree level or equivalent in a scientific subject or equivalent professional experience at a similar level - Extensive knowledge and experience of implementing Quality Management Systems - Understanding of ISO 17025 and ISO Knowledge and experience of electronic management system applications such as Q-Pulse / Ideagen Quality Management - Willingness to travel between main laboratory sites and Scene Examination offices across Scotland, including some overnight stays if necessary
Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate the day-to-day provision and development of management systems within Forensic Services - Provide advice and support relating to accreditation, validation, and verification issues - Support the Quality Manager and Head of Quality & Assurance in cross-functional quality initiatives - Provide assurance relating to compliance with relevant standards, both internally and externally - Serve as the subject matter expert and support to Forensic Services on all relevant Quality matters
