We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join a leading private hospital located on the beautiful South Coast of West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy service within a supportive and modern healthcare environment.
The Role
As Clinical Pharmacist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and personalised care to patients across a range of medical and surgical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct clinical screening and verification of prescriptions
* Provide expert medicines advice to consultants, nursing staff, and patients
* Support medicines reconciliation, discharge planning, and patient counselling
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
* Assist with audits, stock control, and safe medicines management
Requirements:
* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Proven experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
* Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
