As we continue to expand our retail footprint, we’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Retail Manager who shares our passion for exceptional customer experience, premium craftsmanship, and bold ambition. What you'll be leading on:
* Inspire Excellence Every Day - Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while consistently smashing sales targets and company KPIs.
* Coach, Develop & Elevate - Mentor your team with energy and purpose, using regular 1:1s and team huddles to drive motivation, growth, and performance.
* Own the Store Strategy - Keep your finger on the pulse by prioritising both personal goals and wider store objectives, ensuring every day moves the business forward.
* Drive Innovation & Revenue - Think creatively to boost store performance and elevate service levels - we love! fresh ideas that keep customers coming back.
* Host VIP Moments - Plan and execute exciting in-store events and exclusive VIP days, teaming with other local businesses to showcase the Fairfax & Favor culture, bringing the brand to life.
* Champion the Brand Locally - Collaborate with our in-house Retail Marketing Team to raise the profile of your store through local outreach and online visibility.
* Report with Purpose - Deliver insightful weekly business updates that keep your Regional Manager in the loop and your store ahead of the curve.
* Be the Customer Hero - Take ownership of customer feedback and queries, turning challenges into opportunities to impress.
* Keep the Finances Tight - Oversee daily till reconciliation and cashing-up with precision and accountability.
* Maintain the Standard for Onboarding - Partner with HR to deliver an unforgettable first impression for new team members, while keeping recruitment admin accurate and on-point.
* Be our Safety Advocate - Take the lead on in-store health & safety, staying alert with your team and be proactive in flagging issues to your line manager.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
* Retail Experience That Counts – You bring at least 2 years of retail management experience (or a similar customer-focused leadership role) and are ready to hit the ground running.
* Natural Leadership Presence - You know how to lead by example, inspire your team, and bring out the best in those around you.
* Clear, Confident Communicator - Whether it's face-to-face with customers, presenting to your team, or writing a sharp email, your communication style is polished, personable, and professional.
* Brand Champion in the Making - You're passionate about product knowledge (don't worry, we'll train you!) and love sharing your expertise with customers and colleagues alike.
* Commercially Savvy - You understand the numbers, spot opportunities, and make smart decisions that drive performance and profit.
* Tech-Smart and Organised – Comfortable using Microsoft Office & Excel, you can stay on top of reports, stock, schedules, and everything in between.
* Self-Starter with Follow-Through – You spot what needs doing and make sure it gets done — no nudging required.
* People Person Through and Through – You’re confident working with a wide range of people, and treat everyone with genuine respect and warmth.
* Cool Under Pressure – You thrive in fast-paced environments and keep your cool, even when things get busy.
