🏎️ Composite Laminator – Motorsport / Formula 1
GTS are hiring Composite Laminators / Composite Technicians to join a leading motorsport and high-performance automotive manufacturer in Oxfordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on Formula 1, motorsport, and advanced carbon fibre projects, with long-term stability and consistent overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
* Carbon fibre pre-preg lay-up
* Working from engineering drawings, templates & lay-up manuals
* Vacuum bagging, de-bulking & curing processes
* Trimming and finishing composite components
* Producing parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
* Supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements
* Experience as a Composite Laminator / Composite Technician
* Background in Motorsport, Formula 1, Aerospace, or Automotive
* Strong understanding of carbon fibre & composite manufacturing
* Ability to read technical drawings
* High attention to detail and quality
* Flexible approach to overtime
Salary & Benefits
* £12.90 – £16.00 per hour (1–3 years’ experience)
* £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (4–7 years’ experience)
* Overtime:
* 1.25x after 40 hours
* 1.5x weekends
* 40-hour working week
* Paid breaks (2 x 15 minutes)
* Free hot drinks on-site ☕
* Early finish every Friday
* Permanent role with strong long-term prospects
Working Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
* Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
Location
Oxfordshire – commutable from Banbury, Bicester, Oxford, Brackley, Silverstone, Witney and surrounding areas.
