Roles and responsibilities
Your role will be to support the agency team colleagues in delivering all assigned projects on time and to the highest standards across a number of large grocery client accounts. You will work with the store teams to consistently lead by example, providing a safe and legal environment for both colleagues and customers. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the dressing plans/planograms, and support and manage all team members throughout the project including attendance and productivity. You will maintain regular communication with the Store Management and Project Manager to ensure any issues are raised and resolved.
Flexibility is key within this role. The hours and days of work will be totally project-related and dependent on the client’s requirements. Generally, you would be expected to work 11-hour shifts. Although we aim to regionalise work, you may be required to travel and stay away from home.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous for this role. You may be required to transport workers in pool cars (hire cars) to store locations; however, we will still consider applications from non-drivers.
What you need to do
* Understand the project, scope of works, and daily objectives from the start of the project.
* Liaise with Store Management to obtain relevant information before the project start date.
* Manage the onsite team, ensuring a good standard of dress, timely attendance, and overseeing all breaks.
* Set out the scope of works for each project and shift, and communicate this to the team.
* Maintain health and safety standards in working areas and with team members, including PPE, uniforms, fire safety, etc.
* Deliver the project promptly, ensuring accurate implementation, cleanliness, and tidiness.
* Ensure all equipment, stock, and advertising are installed as required to complete each planogram.
* Monitor and communicate project progress to relevant parties.
* Lead by example, maintain team morale, motivate, and support colleagues to maximize productivity.
* Ensure the team treats all company property with care and respect.
* Report performance issues to the Account Manager/Retail Support Management Team.
* Complete all administrative tasks, including sign-in/out, reports, photographs, timesheets, and phone reports.
The ideal candidate will need to be:
* A competent user of IT systems.
* Ideally experienced in working with large grocery accounts.
* Competent in administration, warehouse, and shop floor procedures.
* Knowledgeable of display and merchandising techniques and methods of planning shelf or fixture layouts (planograms, line drawings, etc.).
* Familiar with merchandising and installation processes, including system works.
Additional information
* Hourly rate: Depending on experience, up to £13.82ph days and £13.99ph nights.
* Weekly pay.
* Work is on a temporary basis, potentially involving ongoing projects on days, nights, and weekends.

Successful candidates will be issued a temporary ‘Terms of Engagement’ contract if selected. These Terms shall not constitute an employment contract between the Company and the Temporary Worker. The parties intend that the Temporary Worker will not be an employee.
