On behalf of our Client we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Engineer/Area Sales Manager with a proven track record as a business developer and excellent salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry to join the team of this first class business.
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will be selling a range of high quality Industrial Automation products, i.e. PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI and Process Instrumentation into the OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets throughout the North of the Tyne area, including North Shields, Whitley Bay, Wallsend, Longbenton, Jesmond, Cramlington, Blyth, etc.
* Work to achieve defined sales targets and develop a personal plan to achieve objectives through managing and further developing an existing portfolio of accounts while constantly striving to identify new avenues of business.
* Demonstrate good organisation and communication skills, act as an effective team player while enjoying a level of autonomy, and possess capability with Microsoft packages.
Qualifications
* Existing sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry with a record of sales success and achievement.
* Formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential; demonstrable knowledge and sales ability are required.
* Ideally, further career development training to enhance sales skills.
