Logoplaste UK is currently seeking to recruit a Material Handler in Production.
Reporting to the shift Team Leader, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping and receiving functions.
As a successful Material Handler, you will provide full support to our Production Operation by learning new skills of a Process Technician when the business requires. This is a great multi-skilled opportunity.
Key tasks & Activities…
1. Participates in counting and inspecting items
2. Controls the delivery of raw materials and respective unloading to silo’s
3. Organizes and making sure delivery drivers adhere to related quality and Health and safety policies and instructions
4. Controls the necessary documentation, ensuring correct counts, weights or measures Safely and efficiently operates power and manual material moving equipment such as forklifts
5. Loads the client's trailers
6. Hands on approach to daily cleaning schedules
7. All aspects of a Process Technician
Who we are looking for…
Background and Experience
8. - years’ experience required in a similar role
9. Forklift; Logistics and Administrative work.
Technical Skills
10. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
11. You will have a good working knowledge of relevant legislation; including Health & Safety.
Interpersonal Skills
12. Flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
13. Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization.
14. Effective communicator at all levels
15. Effective trouble shooter
