A leading UK wealth management firm is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering the commercial strategy of its Wealth Planning division.
This role sits within the Commercial Office and will work closely with senior leadership, including the Head of Wealth Planning, helping translate organisational strategy into actionable initiatives that drive growth, performance, and client outcomes.

The Role
As Commercial Strategy Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to the Wealth Planning leadership team, supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives aligned to the wider business strategy.
You will help identify growth opportunities, develop business cases, analyse performance data, and support the successful delivery of strategic projects across the division.
Key responsibilities will include: • Supporting the development and execution of the Wealth Planning strategic plan • Identifying market opportunities and growth initiatives • Developing commercial analysis and performance insights to support decision-making • Building and monitoring management information (MI) and KPI reporting • Conducting data analysis to assess opportunities to improve revenue and margin • Developing business cases and cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives • Supporting and monitoring the delivery of strategic initiatives • Working closely with senior stakeholders across strategy, finance, client experience and proposition teams • Translating strategic discussions into clear and actionable commercial plans
The Candidate
We are looking for a commercially minded strategic thinker who enjoys combining analysis with practical execution.
You must have experience in strategy, commercial analysis or business planning within financial services, wealth management, asset management, or private banking.
The successful candidate will demonstrate: • Experience contributing to or delivering strategic plans or business initiatives • Strong data analysis and reporting capability, with experience working with large datasets • Ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insight • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with senior leadership • Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly • A collaborative working style and ability to operate across teams • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL or advanced Excel would be advantageous.
