In the role of Project Principal Engineering, we'll count on you to:
1. Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
2. Responsible for any project assignment regardless of size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff.
3. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
4. Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
5. Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
6. Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
7. Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
8. Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
9. Implement QA/QC procedures
10. Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
11. Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
12. Master's degree
13. PMP certification
Required Qualifications
14. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
15. 15 years related experience
16. A minimum 7 years project management experience
17. Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or ) license.
18. MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
19. Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
20. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
