About The Role
1. Analyze value contribution from a portfolio perspective.
2. Perform benchmarks of RWE Generation SE's portfolio against the market.
3. Serve as the commercial interface to RWE Supply & Trading, analyzing and challenging commercial strategies from a portfolio perspective.
4. Identify optimization potential at the portfolio level and derive measures accordingly.
5. Analyze infrastructural and general cost optimization potential.
6. Collaborate with RWEG’s AI development team for portfolio optimization applications.
7. Moderate a technology-overarching fair cost valuation to resolve potential conflicts.
Job Requirements and Experience
1. Economic or technical university degree with at least 3 years of experience in the energy industry.
2. Experience in conducting business evaluations under complex conditions.
3. Profound knowledge of the power industry, including plant operation and maintenance.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to handle conflicting targets and persuade stakeholders.
5. Fluent in English; German and Dutch skills are advantageous but not required.
