Quantity Surveyor - Tier 1 Contractor - Birmingham
A Top 10 contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on major design and build projects ranging from £5m to £100m.

The initial project is a prison scheme (non-live environment) to refurbish an existing building (£30m).

Requirements:
- Experience managing sub-contractor variations
- Experience working with a building contractor
- Experience dealing with final accounts
- Industry-related qualification
Key Duties:
- Assist with procurement and managing sub-contract packages
- Assist with variations and valuations
- Input during the pre-construction stage
- Assist with the production of CVRs
Salary & Package:
- Great basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000
- Company car or allowance (£5,000)
- Performance-related bonus
- Pension & Healthcare
To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £5m+ to £50m.
