Job Title: Casual Bank Nurse
We are seeking registered nurses to provide IV therapies and associated care to patients in their homes, supporting those unable to achieve independence in their treatments.
Responsibilities:
1. Administer prescribed IV therapies and provide related care and support to patients.
2. Train and educate patients and carers on connecting and disconnecting Parenteral Nutrition, using infusion devices, and other therapies to promote independence.
3. Work split shifts, typically 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening, with a break in between. As a bank nurse, you can choose to work either AM or PM shifts.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions in clinical emergencies.
* Valid driving license and own vehicle for travel to patients' homes.
* Flexibility to travel outside the local area as needed.
