The Role I Need Staff Today Limited are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join their Telford operation. This role is ideal for a strong people leader who can motivate a team of technicians while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working Hours & Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:30 Lunch: 30-minute unpaid break Holidays: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Reservist Leave: 2 weeks paid leave per year for reservist training/camp Life Cover: 3 x base salary Pension: Employer: 3% (rising to 5% after 12 months) Employee: 5% On-the-job training and career development Access to wellbeing and employee support services Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of technicians to achieve high standards of safety, quality and efficiency Ensure production schedules meet customer and business requirements Monitor labour, materials and resources to maintain cost-effective operations Ensure compliance with company procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality and SOPs Identify and implement improvement opportunities where approved Maintain a clean, structured and organised working environment Ensure job activity is accurately recorded on a daily basis Support the team to consistently deliver high-quality work Skills, Experience & Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability Knowledge of QHSE legislation Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential) Ability to manage people and resources effectively Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when dealing with staff matters Positive attitude and commitment to company values and objectives Apply Now If you are an experienced Workshop Supervisor looking to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation with excellent benefits and development opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
