My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are seeking an experienced User Researcher to join a multidisciplinary User-Centred Design (UCD) team within a central government client.
You will play a key role in ensuring services are designed around user needs, aligning with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience working within UK central government environments
* Strong knowledge and practical application of GDS principles and service standards
* Demonstrable experience using mixed research methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics)
* Expertise in synthesising complex research data into clear insights
* Experience presenting findings and engaging with a range of stakeholders
* Ability to advocate for user needs and embed user-centred design practices
* Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
* Experience contributing to service assessments and GDS audits
