Practice Nurse
Location: Cambridge
Hours: 3 x Days Per Week (30 Hours)
Contract: Locum
The Role We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our nursing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering clinical care, health promotion, and chronic disease management to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Providing routine nursing care, including wound care, immunisations, and cervical screening
Managing long-term conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)
Health promotion and patient education
Supporting infection prevention and control
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Working collaboratively with the wider primary care team
Requirements
Registered Nurse (NMC registered)
Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting (preferred)
Strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high standards of patient care and confidentiality
