Overview
We’re looking for a Web & UX Manager to shape and steer the next chapter of www.glos.ac.uk - someone who can balance technical know-how with creative flair, and strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
We’re proud of our website and ambitious about the future. You’ll shape and deliver our website strategy, working with colleagues across UoG - from senior leaders and technical experts - to understand needs, spark ideas and deliver solutions.
You’ll have an innovative approach and be passionate about technology – keeping our website fresh, accessible and ahead of the curve. You’ll embrace AI and emerging tech to improve the user experience and meet our objectives.
As well as driving projects, you’ll inspire and manage a talented team of Web & UX Officers, prioritising work effectively to maximise impact and deliver results. You’ll also manage the relationship with our external website development agency, providing clear direction and coordinating the successful delivery of new website developments.

* Drive our website strategy and deliver solutions in partnership with senior leaders and technical experts across UoG.
* Inspire and manage a team of Web & UX Officers, prioritising work to maximise impact and deliver results.
* Manage the relationship with our external website development agency, providing clear direction and coordinating delivery of new website developments.
Qualifications
* Experience in web strategy, UX, and web development leadership.
* Innovative approach to technology, with passion for accessibility and user experience.
* Ability to lead and collaborate across senior stakeholders.
* Experience with AI and emerging technologies is a plus.
