Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, an established Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit a Response Maintenance Manager on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 3-6 months with the possibility of further extension. Your new role You will manage performance and customer relations for the Association's responsive maintenance service and assist the Director of Assets in the strategic delivery of a quality asset management service to the tenants. You will provide leadership and line management to the relevant Assets team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures. You will assist in the establishment of budgets and be responsible for designated budgets and providing forecasts of expenditure. You will manage and monitor the performance of suppliers, contractors, consultants, and other delivery partners on a regular basis to ensure regulatory targets are met, quality of workmanship and service is maintained and a "value for money" service is provided. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you must possess: A third level qualification (HNC, HND or Bachelor's Degree) in a construction-related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in reactive/response maintenance at a supervisory or management level, to include at least 2 years' experience in minor works: value for money/bench marking of costs, mobilisation of works and programme management. Relevant experience must include: MTC Contract management - mechanical, electrical & building fabric services. Performance monitoring in a client-facing role (SLA's & KPI adherence) Responsibility for customer engagement and satisfaction Supervising staff, which should include directing/delegating work and dealing with problems including identification and resolution. You should be IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office to include excel, working with databases, spreadsheets, setting budgets.
