Role Overview:
A well-established Financial Planning firm in the North West is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Paraplanner to join their team. You will work closely with advisers to support business owners, professionals, and retirees, helping them navigate their financial futures. This role is suitable for both early-career paraplanners and experienced professionals looking to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research products, funds, and financial solutions to support tailored client advice.
2. Prepare suitability reports and client meeting documentation.
3. Identify opportunities and areas for improvement in client portfolios.
4. Support compliance through pre-sale checks and project work.
5. Contribute to team efficiency and innovation, including using AI tools to assist in research and advice.
6. Collaborate with advisers to ensure excellent client service.
Candidate Profile:
7. Team player with a passion for financial planning.
8. Strong initiative and project management skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
10. Confident producing suitability letters and communicating with clients.
11. Comfortable working independently and managing own workload.
Experience & Qualifications:
12. 2+ years paraplanning experience preferred.
13. Financial Planning qualifications or actively working towards them.
14. GCSEs (Grade C/5+) in Maths and English.
15. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and financial planning software.
16. Experience in pensions, group pensions, cashflow modelling, investments, protection advice, and inheritance tax.
17. Open to using AI tools to enhance productivity.
