Make a difference in children's lives as a Residential Support Worker in Herefordshire!
Randstad, a leading HR services provider, is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Residential Child Care team in Herefordshire.
As a Residential Children Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing care and support to children in a residential setting. Your focus will be on creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing to individualized care plans and assisting children with their daily activities.
This is a full-time position requiring:
* At least 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
* Your own car and a full UK driving license.
* An updated DBS certificate (or a valid Police Clearance certificate if you've lived outside the UK for over 6 months in the last 5 years).
While an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) is desirable, we are looking for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team and independently, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children. A strong understanding of safeguarding policies is also essential.
Your skills should include providing comprehensive care, fostering a safe environment, collaborating with teams, implementing care plans, supporting daily activities, and maintaining accurate records.
