A high-impact senior legal counsel role at the heart of clean energy innovation. With demand scaling rapidly, were hiring a commercially astute Senior Legal Counsel to strengthen their growing legal team. The Role Reporting to the Head of Legal, youll partner with stakeholders across the UK and internationally to provide pragmatic, business-centric advice in a fast-moving, engineering/manufacturing environment. Expect genuine ownership across the contracting lifecycle and exposure to strategic matters. You will: Draft, review and negotiate complex, high-value customer and supplier contracts (framework agreements, MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, SLAs), including cross-border arrangements with blue-chip counterparties. Support procurement on flow-down terms across supply chain, EPC, O&M and major equipment. Advise on corporate/commercial, governance and compliance matters (competition law, UK GDPR/data protection, sanctions/export controls). Assist with disputes and potential litigation, instruct and manage external counsel. Monitor relevant UK & EU legislative changes impacting energy/industrial projects and translate into actionable guidance and training for the business. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members. What Were Looking For Qualified solicitor with 57 PQE (commercial/contracts/corporate). Strong in-house experience ideal; top-tier private practice backgrounds with a commercial mindset very welcome. Proven track record negotiating international agreements and balancing risk with business outcomes. Comfort with industrial/technology contexts (manufacturing, engineering, energy, clean tech).
