Job Title: SC Cleared - IT Deployment Technician - Device Refresh Project

Pay Rate: £25.15 per hour (equivalent to approx. £45,000 per annum)

About the Role:
Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a short-term, hands-on contract? Join a dynamic device refresh project running from January to March 2026, where you'll be at the heart of upgrading user equipment and ensuring smooth transitions. What You'll Be Doing:
1. Clinic Setup & Support
2. Help set up and maintain the onsite Refresh Clinic.
3. Move devices between storage and clinic areas as directed.
4. Device Deployment
5. Collect old laptops from users and issue new ones following a clear migration schedule.
6. Ensure accurate handover and tracking of all devices.
7. Log into systems using provided equipment under guidance.

Workflow & Issue Management
9. Update the project's workflow system at each stage of the process.
10. Flag any issues quickly and clearly to the site team.
11. Pass unresolved issues to the onsite support engineer.

Inventory & Logistics
13. Perform daily stock checks and report findings.
14. Package returned devices correctly and label them for disposal or refurbishment.
15. Secure all equipment in storage at the end of each day.
What We're Looking For:
Valid SC Clearance (essential).Experience in IT hardware deployment, refresh, or migration projects.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
