Financial and Performance Controller Islington, London Up to £75,000 Hyde is looking to recruit a Financial and Performance Controller – PFI. We’re seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead financial strategy and performance reporting across our PFI operations. This is a great opportunity to influence key financial decisions, manage stakeholder relationships, and play a critical role in preparing for the successful completion of long-term PFI contracts, where Hyde group has an investing interest. Duties of a Financial and Performance Controller * Lead finance and performance management for PFI SPVs, Partners for Improvement in Islington Ltd and Brent Co-efficient. * Ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual financial and KPIs reporting obligations. * Lead in preparation of financial accounts, budgets, forecasts, and management reports. * Maintain robust financial controls, risk management plans, and long-term financial models. * Support senior management with scenario planning and contract end preparation. * Manage stakeholder relationships, including the Board, Client Authority, and contractors. * Manage 2 direct reports. Skills and Experience Required * Fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA (essential) * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Financial Controller (or similar level) with at least 5 years in Finance overall * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to stakeholders * Experience in PFIs, Contract management, Asset Management and Real Estate sectors (desirable but not essential) * Advanced Excel skills essential; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous * Experience preparing board reports or advising senior stakeholders (desirable) Benefits * A fantastic pension * Life assurance * Great holidays * An award-winning flexible benefits package * Volunteering days At Hyde, equity, diversity, and inclusion are embedded in everything we do.
