Safeguarding Practitioner

Join the Safeguarding team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to ensure compliance with standards for safeguarding children and adults. The role requires advanced clinical specialist knowledge and the ability to provide expert advice and support to frontline staff and managers across the organisation.
Main duties
* Provide specialist safeguarding advice and clinical and supervisory support to staff within an integrated health organisation.
* Maintain a framework for safeguarding supervision that empowers practitioners.
* Act as the health representative on the Multiagency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
* Deliver one‑to‑one and group safeguarding supervision to level 3 staff as defined in the intercollegiate documents.
* Review and implement nationally recognised best practice in collaboration with the Care Group, ensuring changes are evaluated and reported.
* Attend multi‑agency meetings and participate in internal and external reviews, audits and inspections.
* Establish relationships within the care Group to guide staff on whom to contact for advice.
* Support the development of inter‑agency learning and service development at directed meetings.
Person specification
* Professional relevant qualification in safeguarding.
* Experience of working with complex safeguarding cases.
* Willingness to work toward MA Safeguarding standards.
* Will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
