Bristol Magistrates’ Court, located on Marlborough Street in the city centre, handles a wide range of criminal, youth, and civil cases as part of the HM Courts & Tribunals Service. The courthouse features multiple hearing rooms, accessibility amodations, and facilities such as interview rooms, baby changing areas, and video‑link capability.
Your new role
As an Administration officer within the Works department at Bristol Magistrates Court, the main duties include but are not limited to:
1. General clerical tasks
2. Answering telephone calls
3. Sending/ receiving emailmunication
4. Liaising with suppliers/ clients/ staff and customers
5. Logging/ updating and closing jobs on the system
6. Raising and receipting of requisitions via the approved system
7. You will also be required to run various reports from a number of different IT systems / databases.
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday: 9– £ ph. plus holiday.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' administration experience and be proficient in all Microsoft programs, including Outlook, Work and Excel.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a facilities team.
