Health & Safety Manager Location: Winsford Job Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across our companies site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure a safe and compliant workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence. Deliver training and awareness programs to staff on health and safety practices and emergency procedures. Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance documentation. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Monitor and report on key health and safety metrics and KPIs to senior management. Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills and simulations.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety certification required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, construction, or logistics. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and health & safety management software. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
