One of Kent's largest structural and architectural metalwork companies is looking for a Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, drive project success, and lead a team of 10 skilled professionals. This company is thriving and Turnover is likely to double this year to 10million +
As the go between from the workshop to the Office and MD's your responsibilities will focus on getting work completed on time, quality and the welfare of the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and engage with the workshop team
* Oversee project production & assembly
* Maintain top-quality standards
* Ensure a safe working environment
* Work closely with the engineering team to improve processes
* Troubleshoot bottlenecks, stock issues & machine maintenance
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, rolling up your sleeves when needed. A strong background in welding and fabrication is essential.
