We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a large business in South Leeds. This is a permanent, full-time position offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but candidates looking to 'step up' from a transactional purchase ledger position will also be considered.
Key duties include:
1. Providing administrative support in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the month-end process.
2. Establishing appropriate books and records for cash, bank, fixed assets, stocks, debtors, and creditors.
3. Carrying out daily bank checks to ensure all cash is correctly posted.
4. Supporting the credit control function.
5. Supporting the purchase ledger function, including coding and posting supplier invoices.
