Operations Assistant | £25,000 - £30,000 | Perm | West-End | 5 days office based This is a fantastic opportunity for a polished and proactive junior candidate or first jobber to join this prestigious business as an Operations Assistant to join a high-end, fast-paced environment in the heart of Mayfair. Working within a beautifully maintained, historic building, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations run seamlessly while delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in presentation, organisation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll be the face of the building, supporting reception duties such as greeting guests, managing calls and inbox enquiries, coordinating meeting room bookings, and handling post and couriers. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team, assisting with administrative tasks, supporting hospitality with refreshments and event preparation, and ensuring all office spaces are consistently maintained to an impeccable standard. The role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, taking initiative, and stepping in wherever needed to ensure a smooth and professional environment for both internal staff and external visitors. Key responsibilities: Providing professional front-of-house and reception cover Managing calls, inbox enquiries, meeting room bookings, and visitor coordination Handling incoming mail and organising couriers Supporting the Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks Assisting with hospitality, including serving refreshments when required Supporting the setup and delivery of internal and external events Monitoring and replenishing stationery across the building Ensuring all areas are immaculately presented at all times Reporting and escalating any maintenance or presentation issues promptly About you: You will be bubbly, polished and well presented. This is a great role for a recent school leaver or graduate looking to take the leap into the world of work. This role is all about building relationships and your ability to show initiative and work hard.
