HMPBullingdon (officially His Majesty’s Prison and Young Offenders Institute Bullingdon) is a CategoryB/C men’s prison located in Arncott, near Bicester in Oxfordshire.
Your new role
We are currently looking for a part-time cleaner: Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clean and maintain hygiene standards across prison facilities, including offices, wings,munal areas, visitor centres, and toilets.
2. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising high-touch surfaces
3. Use equipment and cleaning chemicals appropriately, adhering to COSHH regulations.
4. Collaborate with multi-skilled facilities teams (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and administrators) to support overall site operations.
5. Maintain high health and safety standards andply with internal operational procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Candidate Requirements
6. Proven experience in a cleaning environment mercial, healthcare, retail, or similar)
7. Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
8. Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
9. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
10. Good interpersonal skills to work closely with team members from various trades
11. Ability to work methodically under pressure and meet required standards and deadlines
