This team is seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to support their Corporate and Commercial Property department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of client matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents, correspondence, and contracts.
Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging appointments.
Handling telephone calls, emails, and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinating file management, including opening, closing, and archiving client files.
Conducting searches, submitting applications, and liaising with Companies House, HM Land Registry, and other external bodies.
Assisting with billing, time recording, and general financial administration.
Ensuring compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Corporate and/or Commercial Property law.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent typing, document production, and IT skills (Microsoft Office and case management systems).
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
Professional communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
