We are seeking a financial processes officer to join the finance division. You will be responsible for ensuring financial processes are well communicated so that colleagues across the University are empowered to deliver effective financial administration.
Location: Great Clarendon Street, Oxford with a requirement for 1 day a week in the office, with flexibility to come in for meetings/workshops.

About the Role
Support continuous improvement to optimise financial processes across the University
Develop and communicate materials to empower colleagues to uphold best practice of finance operations
Work closely with stakeholders to maintain and improve financial guidance
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency
Run workshops and lead presentations to identify financial process issues and possible solutions using continuous improvement (e.g. LEAN) tools
About You
Recently or part-qualified accountant or equivalent work experience, specifically in financial administration, financial control or internal audit.
Good knowledge of financial management, core financial processes and an understanding of key financial controls.
Familiarity with financial systems.
Excellent people skills, with the ability to win trust and work collaboratively and empathetically with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce clear and comprehensive text as well as present complex information in an engaging fashion.
