CTV Operator - Northampton
Enigma Security Solutions are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CCTV Operator to join our CCTV team.
[Please note this for this position you will be police vetted to the highest standard. Before applying please ensure you will be able to pass the vetting process.]
SIA CCTV Licence Is Mandatory To Be Accepted For This Role.
Shift Pattern: 0 hour Contract
Job Summary
To provide a monitoring and control service using CCTV, communication systems and computer based access control systems, within the standards laid down in the Code of Practice and Operational Procedural Manual.
1. To monitor CCTV cameras in your local area, assisting the Police and making a REAL difference.
2. To keep and maintain suitable and sufficient records of all incidents.
3. To maintain the security of the CCTV Control and equipment rooms at all times.
4. To operate and monitor the control room systems.
5. Liaise with visitors using systems.
6. To notify the police and other authorised persons/organisations of incidents.
7. To maintain and store correctly records, relevant to the execution of the system.
8. Records reviewing on behalf of the client or police in accordance with legislation.
9. Ensure professional quality of service delivery and compliance with legislative requirements.
10. Using radio communication equipment to communicate information with retailers, Publicans, and the Police.
Person specification: REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills
1. SIA CCTV License is essential.
2. Flexible and adaptable to work shift patterns.
3. Excellent verbal and written English.
4. Excellent telephone skills.
5. IT and Computer Literate.
6. Able to interact with customers.
7. Customer service and control room experience.
8. Able to do rotating 12-hour shift pattern, Days, Nights, Weekends, Bank Holidays.
9. Excellent Geographical knowledge of Northampton.
Operators will be required to undergo a police vetting procedure or other approved security clearance before commencing duties as a CCTV operator.
Operators may be required to attend court and give evidence on the basis of their duties as a CCTV operator.
