We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Platform Engineer to join our client’s technology team and help build, scale, and support a modern internal platform that empowers our engineering teams to deliver and operate their services effectively.

What You’ll Do
* Build, enhance, and maintain a modern platform used by multiple engineering teams
* Operate within a “you build it, you run it” culture, coding daily and scaling yourself through others
* Collaborate with site reliability, architecture, onboarding, and delivery teams to ensure a reliable, scalable platform
* Promote automation and platform engineering best practices across the organisation
* Upskill team members and contribute to hiring to fill skill gaps
What We’re Looking For
* Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform (syntax, modules, state, workspaces, backend configuration)
* Deep understanding of the Azure Terraform provider, including limitations and best practices
* Integrating Terraform into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* Familiarity with ARM templates and Azure resource lifecycle management
Cloud, Containers & Automation
* Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Knowledge of core Azure services (VNets, VMs, Storage, App Services, etc.)
* Hands‑on with Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, and cloud security best practices
* Skilled in automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Bash
DevOps & Security
* Proficient with Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
* Understanding of cloud networking concepts (VNets, subnets, NSGs)
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices
* Experience optimizing cloud spend and resource efficiency
