An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Clinical Educator based within Justice Health Care. You will work closely with the Senior Nurses and Senior Charge Nurses to create, implement and review training needs using national frameworks for registered and non-registered nursing teams within HMP Perth, HMP Castle Huntly and HMP Bella.
As a clinical educator you will closely with the Senior Charge Nurse team to develop, implement, deliver and evaluate the education programmes to meet specific needs of the nursing teams through a competency based framework. You will advise, support and provide direction to registered and non-registered nursing staff on education and clinical issues.
A core role of the clinical educator is to provide direct professional support to the Senior Charge Nurse and their teams, to enhance and develop the Prison care and to establish collaborative, person centre ways to work cohesively and improve professional roles within the justice health care.
Interested individuals should have significant experience in a nursing leadership or education role.
