About the role

In this pivotal role, you will support the Clinical Administration Manager in leading our Clinical Administration team, ensuring work is delivered with accuracy, compassion, and efficiency. You will:

* Provide day‑to‑day leadership—guiding, instructing, and motivating the team to deliver against agreed Clinical Administration objectives.
* Coordinate workload and workflows, monitoring and scheduling tasks to meet service requirements and deadlines.
* Lead responses to Patient Experience and Datix reports, ensuring issues are managed promptly, professionally, and in line with policy.
* Champion excellent customer service, evaluating processes, encouraging new ideas, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Support people management activities, including conducting 1:1s, return‑to‑work meetings, attending huddles, and escalating concerns where appropriate.
* Use your initiative to ensure daily operations run smoothly and tasks are delivered to a consistently high standard.


Skills and experience required

You will be an enthusiastic and organised individual with:

* Proven experience in administrative leadership or team coordination
* Strong communication skills and a supportive, people‑focused approach
* The ability to manage workloads effectively and adapt to changing priorities
* A passion for delivering excellent patient and customer services
* Confidence in resolving issues and promoting best practice
* A formal management qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience
