We are looking for a Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Coordinator to join our construction team based in London. In this role, you will play an active part in supporting and driving improvements to Safety, Health, and Environmental practices across the team.
Location: Central London - travel to the office required with some remote working available
Contract: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Responsibilities
As a SHE Coordinator, you will provide support to the SHE teams by managing administrative processes to a high standard, with strong attention to detail. This will include ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with Kier's health, safety, and environmental processes and standards.
Your day to day will include:
* Work with the Team developing the Health and Safety Management system (templates, formatting, procedures)
* Ensure Health & Safety documentation is communicated to all and available on the Kier IMS and local project filing system
* Onboarding, competencies, briefings Book and arrange compliance training as and when required
* Support the Health, and Safety Teams with developing Health, Safety and Wellbeing campaigns
* Coordinate recording of incidents, inspections, observations using the project incident management system (NOVADE) and chase close out of actions
What are we looking for?
This role of SHE Coordinator is great if you have:
* Good communication skills, excellent attention to detail, an organised approach to work and an affinity towards working with standardised processes templates and frameworks
* Good IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and good written skills including spelling and grammar, are essential
* Keen interest in Health, Safety & Environment
