Marmon Lift Recruitment is supporting one of the UK’s leading lift engineering companies in the search for an experienced and driven Lift Repair Manager based in Glasgow.
Our client is a large, well-established lift engineering organisation with a strong national presence and an excellent industry reputation. This role will take full responsibility for managing the Glasgow-based repairs team, overseeing major and minor lift repairs, component replacements, and technical projects across the region.
This is a key operational leadership position focused on delivering safe, high-quality repair work on time and within budget, while driving team performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Lift Repair Manager

Lead and manage the Glasgow Repairs team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of lift repair works.

Oversee planning, scheduling, and allocation of repair projects, including major components and modernisation works.
*
Ensure all repair activities are delivered in line with contractual agreements, budgets, and timescales.
*
Provide technical support and oversight to engineers on complex repair jobs.
*
Monitor project costs, margins, and performance metrics to ensure profitability.
*
Maintain strong client relationships
*
Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and industry standards.

Support recruitment, training, and development of repair engineers and supervisors.
*
Collaborate closely with service, sales, and senior management teams to ensure smooth project delivery and identify further opportunities.
Ideal Candidate: Lift Repair Manager
*
Proven management experience within the lift industry, ideally within repairs, modernisation, or project management.
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing lift repair operations or engineering teams.
*
Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, major component replacements, and current safety standards.
*
Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and margins.
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple repair projects simultaneously.
*
Strong communication and leadership skills.
*
Results-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering operational excellence.
